Nastaran (Nast) Wilson
Coach
Nast competed in the Heptathlon (7 events) at the Division 1 level at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. There, she helped her team win the A-10 title and competed at the New England Championships. Once she graduated from UMass, she competed as a heptathlete for the Greater Boston Track Club. Most recently, Nast became the 2021, 2022 CrossFit Games National Champion for Dominican Republic.
Nast was the Head Track and Field Coach at Morris Hills High School, 2009-2016, where she led the Lady Knights to multiple Conference Titles, State Sectional Championship Titles, and their first ever appearance at both the Millrose Games and New Balance Nationals. Her most recent coaching accomplishment was coaching an athlete to a 2nd place finish at the 2021 USATF Spring Track and Field Championships in the 5K and the 2021 High School Nike Outdoor Nationals in Oregon.
She currently works with private running clients of all ages and abilities, coaches the Montclair Running Company and helps coach the Montclair Youth Running Program.
She's had certifications as a NJ Track and Field Official, Pose Running, CrossFit, and Olympic weightlifting.
When she's not on the track or field, Nast is a doula, birth educator, and trainer and enjoys traveling around the nation teaching seminars in both running and birth education. Her specialties include helping athletes get out of pain, weightlifting, and the core and pelvic floor.
Fun fact: Nast was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and speaks Spanish. And yes, she loves to dance merengue!
